New York intimidates buffalo is a collaboration between Galina Belolipetski and DJ Malinowski. The content and structure of the piece are based on a coherent English sentence that uses the word ‘buffalo’ eight times. The three meanings of the word ‘buffalo’ are the city of Buffalo in New York, the verb that signifies to bully or to harass, and the animal buffalo.
